This is a night you CANT miss!
Micky Finn was there at the foundations. With musical roots stretching back into the proto-hardcore acid house days of the eighties, having been among the very top tier of deejays and producers ever since. And the reason is simple, where some might stray into moody gangsta posturing or elitist conceptual art, his goal is simply to make ravers enjoy themselves.
And that all-about-the-ravers ethos manifests in every aspect of his career. A crowd favourite resident from the earliest days of iconic promotions like AWOL and World Dance, his deejaying has taken him to a passport-disintegrating list of countries. A Micky Finn set, packed with one-away specials and the latest fire blended into a rolling rave-wrecking frenzy, is a roadblock affair wherever he touches down.
Carasel
'Different flows for different shows' is how Carasel responds when asked to describe his style. Never one to be pigeonholed into one corner of the sparse and ever changing Drum & Bass landscape, Cara is just as well known for his high energy, fast paced lyrical sets going toe to toe with the MC greats at his residency at D&B institution Warning, as he is holding down 3 hour sets letting music be very much at the forefront and focus point at his regular appearances at Hospitality.
DJ Tempa.
We discover drum 'n' bass in different ways. Some of us fall in love with the music after catching a vibe at a festival or when a mate drags us to our first rave. Some of us arrive via other genres as our musical tastes mature. For others, however, it's simply in the blood.
Like Tempa, for example.
When your family tree includes the likes of godfather Micky Finn, drum 'n' bass becomes woven into the fabric of the everyday in a way that's almost entirely unique. And, as a black female artist who's lived in and around the DnB scene all her life, Tempa's story demonstrates exactly why she's a step beyond the average.
Tiny K
The multi-genre lyricist, songwriter, rapper and emcee Tiny K has exploded onto the drum 'n' bass scene in recent years, accelerating through the ranks to main stages and high-profile team-ups. As they say, though, it takes a lifetime to become an overnight success. And his musical toolkit has been honed and ready for a very long time.
After all, he's a second-generation raver, with both parents involved in the scene. DnB was the soundtrack to his childhood and, having discovered a natural flair for writing bars, a career as an artist was the natural course.
Missrepresent stormed onto the D&B scene in 2001 after winning the Liquidfunk.co.uk mix competition beating over 500 other entries. CEO of the succesful Sliced Note Recordings & jungledrumandbass.co.uk, she's a double award winning national, international DJ and producer, specialising in Jungle & D&B. Her music has appeared in EA Games ' Need for Speed' which sold over 100 million copies!
MC Juiceman.
Is a legend in both D&B and UKG, a true veteran on the rave scene for many a year and still going strong.
Fiyahman.
Stroud's very own king of UKG, and perhaps one of the best technical DJs in the county. Fiyahman always brings his A game.
Representing RAGGA SHED, SIKA RECORDS & Second To None Music, expect high energy UKG and Bassline bangers!
JAKOBIN!
"Hailing directly from Bristol, Jakobin, a 26-year-old artist, has garnered significant attention in the underground music scene with his diverse sets encompassing UK Funky and Bass genres. Originally from Madagascar, Jakobin's musical selections and original compositions remain deeply rooted in his cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic percussion and tribal music of his homeland. Despite maintaining a consistent vibe, Jakobin refuses to confine himself to a single style, incorporating a broad range of underground music spanning from 120 to 140 bpm, encompassing genres such as UK Funky, Garage, Amapiano, House, Grime, and more.
2025 won't know what's hit it.
