Greg Pilley
Greg is the Managing Director and founder of Stroud Brewery.
Greg worked with the Soil Association for 5 years principally as project Co-ordinator for the Cultivating Communities project which promoted and supported the development of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).
He is a founding member of Stroud Community Agriculture Ltd, a Community Co-operative which runs its own farm business, a Director of Stroud Common Wealth (supports social enterprise and community based asset management), and Director of BATCOM (Brimscombe and Thrupp Community Composters) a Community Cooperative enterprise.
Greg likes growing veg on his own allotment, keeps a few bees and helps look after a VERY small flock of sheep.
Jade Bashford
Jade is a founding shareholder of Stroud Brewery. Jade works for the Real Farming Trust and is the Programme Manager for Ready Healthy Eat. She has previously worked on sustainable food projects for some years at a grass roots, national and international level. She was employed by the Soil Association for 14 years, in the Local Food Department. She is interested in community development, community innovation, environmental practice and addressing food poverty.
She has worked on Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), set up a food hub and community orchards and is owner/director of an organic brewery and canteen. She has a smallholding in Stroud and keeps bees. Jade has also worked for several years with homeless people, people with mental health problems and as a teacher. She loves to be outdoors cycling or walking, to play Bach in a Baroque group, to sing in choirs and to chat to the neighbours.
Adam Starkey
Adam is a founding Shareholder of Stroud Brewery and is the founder and Executive Chair of Green Gourmet Ltd. an award-winning food innovation company, based in Gloucestershire.
Adam is also a non-executive director for 5 companies. His experiences have enabled him to help others achieve their goals through advising on changes to their business models and coaching them through business transformations. As a futurist he is committed to researching and projecting for the business community a vision of the impact that innovation and technology will bring in the next few decades with the impact that will have across all society.

Benjamin Morris
Ben is a Director and shareholder at Stroud Brewery. Ben is Executive Director at Howard Tenens and is part of the senior leadership team for Howard Tenens group.
Ben focuses on all things ESG with the company’s reputation at the very heart of what makes the business stand out from its peers.
A large focus on sustainability within the logistics division and with his management team ensures group activities make a real difference in the communities they operate and interact with.
Daniel Morris
Dan is an Executive Director and shareholder of Stroud Brewery. Dan is also Executive Director at Howard Tenens, a neighbouring family business that supported Stroud Brewery in its expansion and move into its current purpose built premises.
Dan’s main passion in work is seeing the team around him meet their goals and supporting the family business to grow in a safe and achievable manner.
His hobbies are linked to the outdoors whether it's walking the dogs with his direct family, mountain biking with friends or gardening when time permits.
